New cast steel cylinders that fit your 2cv crankcase without modifications! More power! No need for a visa engine! This kit fits your 2CV crankcase without any modifications.

The kit includes:

2 new cast steel cylinders ø77mm
2 new forged pistons 652cc
new piston rings
gudgeon pins
Engine seal set 2CV4/6 without crankshaft oil seals
Jets for Solex carburettor

You can download the installation manual, the manual is the same as for the (previous) aluminium cylinders, pictures are not updated yet.

Fits standard to a 2CV crankcase without any modifications to crankcase or cylinderheads, with 2CV cooling panels.

There are a lot of 2CV lovers who wish to get that extra bit of power out of their engine. There are different solutions to get to that result. The most popular solution on the market is the BigBore Kit. We don’t recommend this for the following reasons:

All old steel cylinders have a material strain, if you drill these cylinders and heat them again, the cylinder sleeve will torse back to its old shape.
If you bore the cylinders from 74mm to 77mm, the thickness of the sleeve gets too thin for the alloy.
When the sleeve gets too thin, there’s not enough cooling.
